Solving King’s Dine-In’s Google Business Profile Verification Issue

Business Name: King’s Dine-In

Owner: Kundhan Brothers

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Category/Sub-Category: Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant

Years in Business: 7 years

GBP SEO helped King’s Dine-In get their Google Business Profile Verified and gain complete control over their listings and review management.

Problem Statement

King’s Dine-In was unable to verify their Google Business Profile regardless of multiple video verifications, including live verification from the Google Support Team.

Solution

The client had two different businesses operating on the same street: Kings Restaurant & Bar and King’s Dine-In. They are two different businesses in the restaurant category operating on the same street but at different locations.

We identified that the core issue with verification is Google treating the client’s business as a duplicate of Kings Restaurant & Bar. This has restricted the profile from being verified. The client had spent two months trying to verify the profile by the time they reached out to GBP SEO.

We created King’s Dine-In’s Google Business again and helped the client with the verification process. Google marked these profiles as duplicates once they got verified. Google tagged the profile as a duplicate, so we sent an appeal to the Google Support team, proving ownership and explaining the glitch.

Result:

After multiple appeal submissions and continuous follow-up, the Google team verified King Dine In’s GBP, and the profile was live.

The GBP SEO team identified the root cause of King’s Dine-In’s verification issue, and we helped them submit appeals explaining that King’s Dine-In and Kings Restaurant & Bar are two different businesses. As a result, King’s Dine-In is verified and live on Google Maps.

We are glad to have helped King’s Dine-In’s GBP get verified; our beloved client appreciated our support.
